    Greatest ballad ever hands down. A Gordon Jenkins masterpiece arrangement. Frank heard the Turtles version on the radio and tells “Gordy” to write an arrangement for the song and the rest is history.

    jo. det ble sensurert av plateselskapet, fordi ‘det ikke skulle virke som om han satt på en krakk når han sang’.
    han hadde store skader i bena, og derfor mener fansen at han måtte sitte. grunnen til at han måtte sitte er fordi han var på dødsleiet. sangen ble dedikert til hans eget liv og sin famile.
    derfor hører vi ikke knirking. det ble sensurert.

    my parents played this song, i remember listening to it and thinking what`d be when i was the age he sang about…i don`t think i thought to hard about it.. then. now i`m older than 35 but not vintage wine. it makes me think of being young.
